Ombra by Piero Lissoni changes its look and turns red on the occasion of Supersalone 2021

Milan Design Week 2021 has just ended, a fundamental event for all design enthusiasts, which this year animated the city from 4 to 10 September. For this important occasion, Lema presented a special edition of Ombra by Piero Lissoni, Art director of the brand; the new look, with structure and shell in red leather, highlights its peculiarities and character.

Essentiality of character

The result of a solid understanding, Ombra is a refined industrial project, which is characterized by the rarefied, finely designed architecture: the lines that outline the black painted metal structure, light to the eye but solid in function, support the body which without continuity accommodates seat and back. Formed from a rigid polypropylene printed sheet, minimal in thickness, the shell is available with upper cover in black leather or entirely covered in leather with very light padding.

“Ombra is an intelligent chair on an industrial level, with a linear and shaped metal structure in its simplicity, it is produced with a seat element in propylene covered in leather. Depending on what you want to do, it tells you a story: it can carry armrests and have a slightly anthropomorphic appearance, or in its purity it can remain a chair. “
